Christmas Gift Tree

These is a community-wide project that has been headed up by Grace for over 10 years.  Through community placed trees with ornaments, gifts are given to children in need; as well gift cards for food and fuel for those families as well. This begins in mid-November with the gifts and gifts cards received by the families in need before Christmas.

Feed My Starving Children

This is done at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. The participants assemble meals that feed in the 10s of thousands of meals to the starving. This event is in early October.

Operation: Christmas Child

This is a drive to assemble Christmas boxes for children overseas that receive nothing at Christmas.  The congregation collects specific items starting in late spring and concludes in November with the sorting of those items and packing them into the shoe boxes so they can be shipped overseas in time for Christmas.

Annual Community Block Party

This is new event that began in 2023. We are looking to continue it in 2024. The plan is to have it in the early summer. This is an event on our church grounds that seeks to draw people from the area and our congregation to enjoy fun together on our church grounds, have a free meal and participate in some activities.

Outdoor Worship Service and Church Picnic

The first Sunday of June, we have an outdoor worship service with a guest pastor on a special theme. We also welcome new members and have a blessing and prayer for our high school graduates.

After the worship service, we have a free church picnic / potluck, which is followed by games for the kids and bingo for the adults and children.

Coats for Kids

This is an event that begins in late March / early April and through October. We collect NEW jackets that can be distributed to families and children who cannot afford heavier jackets for winter and cold weather wear. We keep a blue collection barrel in our north entry way for those jackets. New and handmade hats and handwear are also welcome.

Valentines for ‘Project Angel Hugs’

There are children throughout our area who are battling cancer. Starting in September we collect, make, and sign Valentines for these area children. We give them to "Project Angel Hugs," who distributes them to these children in the early days of February.

Brat Frys at Piggly Wiggly in Plymouth

In the months of May, June, July, August, and September the congregation has the opportunity to host a Brat Fry / Hamburger / Bake Sale at the Piggly Wiggly in Plymouth. These events are held on Saturdays or Sundays with the funds going to special projects, events, or charity.

We need volunteers to assist in the planning.

We also need workers to serve at the sale table and also workers to cook the brats and hamburgers that we serve.

Firemen’s Parade (4th of July Weekend)

This is an event that can include different gifts at different stages. We like to have a float or vehicle whereby we distribute publications to the crowd with other gift items attached. This is done on the 1st Sunday of July starting at 11:15 a.m.

We can use idea people / designers, builders / creators, and walkers to distribute.
