WORSHIP SERVICES:
We resume public worship the weekend of Thursday, May 28th, 2020 @ 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, May 31st, 2020 @ 8:00 & 10:15 a.m.:
We will retain our regular communion schedule of 2nd & 4th Sundays with previous Thursday.
Thursday Worship @ 7:00 p.m.
Sunday Worship @ 8:00 & 10:15 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS DIFFERENT THAN OUR NORMAL SUMMER HOURS. We have kept the two services per Sunday schedule so that we can have more capacity in light of our temporary 25% capacity restriction.
THERE WILL BE NO 9:00 A.M. WORSHIP SERVICE DURING THE SUMMER OF 2020.
SEATING:
Because we are labeled “Essential”, we are allowed 25% of capacity.
Please honor the seating as it is laid out in the sanctuary, narthex, and Fellowship Hall.
People who live in the same household may sit together.

TOTAL CAPACITY PER SERVICE: 58
ATTENDANCE:
Attendance needs to be counted to abide by capacity guidelines. We may have to find a way to control attendance, if it becomes necessary.
SANITARY PRECAUTIONS:
After each worship service (primarily done by Elder)—
Sanitize all pews.
Sanitize all door and window handles.
Dispose of / recycle bulletins / orders of worship.
COMMUNION:
Altar Guild will prepare communion-ware wearing mask and gloves.
Retain current communion schedule of 2nd & 4th Sundays with previous Thursday.
Continuous communion
(Come up center aisle, receive elements, and return to seat via respective side aisle.).
Maintain 6 feet of distance between communicants.
Elder & Pastor will wear gloves & facemasks.
Elder distributes bread placing in individual’s hands.
Pastor distributes individual cups to communicants from communion trays.
No chalice will be offered.
WORSHIP ON-LINE:
We will continue to have “Thoughts for Thursday” by Pastor on Facebook.
We will continue to record and download our Sunday worship service on Facebook.
MODIFICATIONS TO WORSHIP “TRADITIONS”:
These are a list of some miscellaneous changes in the worship service—
Masks will be available to wear for those who don’t have one. Please take it with you when you leave church. They are available and we encourage you to wear them, but you are not required to do so.
We ask that you do not congregate closely before or after the service. Please observe 6 feet “Social Distancing”. Respect the comfort levels of others.
No physical contact—between worshippers. Please be respectful and mindful of the sensitivities of other worshippers.
Pastor will greet after the service, but without physical contact, maintaining 6 ft. “Social Distancing.”
Pastor will have children’s messages, but the children will not be able to come up for them. He will make sure that the children will be able to see them from their seats.
No coffee / fellowship time between services.
Bulletins will be printed with full liturgy and hymn lyrics.
Bulletins should be taken home and disposed of there.
We will not be using the hymnals so they will be removed from the sanctuary.
There will be no “Registration Pads” passed during the service.
The “Offering box” will be used to receive the offerings in the center of the narthex.
