Responds to COVID-19

On Monday, May 24, 2021, the Church Council held an Emergency Meeting to address recent developments on how our country is currently handling the COVID-19 pandemic.  As mask mandates are being relaxed and event attendance in many venues is increasing, Grace Lutheran Church, like many others, is implementing a Self-Regulating mode.

We realize some folks have not been vaccinated, and some will still remain cautious and guarded as to their health.  We respect that.  To accommodate those concerns, masks are optional, and the areas in the Fellowship Area and Hall around the TV’s will be kept sanitized and spaced for social distancing.

Hymnals, fellowship pads and communion registration cards have returned.  Bulletins can be reused for the next service.  Newsletters will be placed in the church mailboxes beginning in July.

Offerings will still be received in the Offering Box in the Narthex.  The Ushers will bring the offerings forward to the altar during the Offertory in the worship service.

Communion will return to the rail, with 6 marked spaces at a table setting.  Both individual and common cup will be offered as in the past.   If you desire communion, but are not comfortable at the railing, please speak to the Pastor before the service.  He will bring communion to you.
